Postcode Programming API  Simply Postcode Software SOAP Web Service

V2 SOAP API: This postcode software V2 SOAP API can be used by any web server or programming language that supports a server-side scripting language that can call SOAP web services, to provide Postcode Lookup within your Software/Web site. Simply call the web service with Postcode criteria, and the web service returns address data.

V3 Open API: For web/desktop applications, we have an Open API web service that takes a Postcode, Postcode + Part of address, or “Search as you type” words and returns a list of matching addresses, which can be used by almost any programming stack.

The user then selects an address from the list presented, and another call is made to the Open API to get the detailed address record and its geolocation. More info about Open API

V2 SOAP Web Service Offers:

  1. Full Address Search, presents a list of addresses to select from a given postcode.
  2. Advanced/Word search, enter part address and then address is selected.
  3. Street Address, enter postcode, returns street, town, county etc. User enters house name or number.
  4. Geographic Data, get location from Postcode, or distance between two postcodes.
  5. Reseller functions, open an account connected to your reseller account.
